Haute Blossoms is a boutique floral design studio in Santa Barbara creating fresh, classic yet distinctive floral designs. The Owner & Lead Designer, Becky McCulloch, has been crushing on flowers for the past 12 years. Weddings are her thing and the Wedding Collection can speak to that. But what does HAUTE mean? Haute is a french word properly pronounced /ōt/ although most commonly heard as /hot/. It means "Fashionably Elegant or High Class" which is the perfect way to describe Becky's designs and what Haute Blossoms is quickly becoming known for- Fashionably Elegant Florals.
Haute Blossoms is a full service wedding florist accommodating any event size from Elopements to full blown Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions. 2016 is booking up fast so the best way to get the process started is to fill out the Inquiry form under "Get in Touch" and provide a few details about your wedding & your vision.
I like to make this process as simple and stress-free for you as possible. While I would prefer to meet you in person, if you are planning from afar I understand that a face-to-face consultation may not always be possible. The best way to get started is to fill out the inquiry form under "Get in Touch" so we can get a few details and be sure we can accommodate your date. I do not list pricing because each event is different and I want to give you the best price for your needs.
Initial consultations are complimentary, I want to meet you and get to know who you are and what you have envisioned for your wedding day. I suggest bringing another person, either your fiancé or mom or friend who can help you make a few decisions. I will be honest with you and tell you what is realistic and what is not given budget, location, etc. It is common that clients may not have a wealth of knowledge about flower types, costs, etc and that is okay! It’s my pleasure and my job to help you through this process and find designs that fit you and your fiancé, your wedding and your budget.
Once we have met, either in person or via phone, I should have enough details to provide you with a proposal. I will typically put together a Pinterest Board that combines a few of your own inspiration images, and my recommendations for your vision. I will also include a budgetary proposal that gives you a break-down of each item (ie: bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony florals, guest table designs, etc) so you can see where your money is going. I typically put all of your “Wish List” items on it so you can see what it would cost to have everything you want. If it is more than you want to spend on flowers you will be able to see where to cut back because of the break-down and find your “Must Haves”. I am happy to help you make decisions to tailor the overall items so that it still fits your vision while trimming for budget if needed. Your proposal will temporarily save your date for 7 days so you have time to review all of the items. In order to move forward I require a deposit and signed copy of your proposal.
Secure The Date & Booking
Ready to Book? If you would like to move forward with the items presented in the proposal, a 50% deposit is required along with a signed copy of the proposal. If you still are trying to decide what you would like to do with the vision but want to secure the date, a retainer is still required which will be based off the size of your event, then we can move forward with perfecting your details. This is common with couples who are planning a year or more in advance.
